The I Cross Section Kameari Rods are made from chromoly raw materials exclusively for connecting rod use only. The chromoly material is chosen by how closely it resembles the shape of the rod and it is carefully forged so that the fibers are not severed, creating superb tensile strength. The rods were designed with durability as the most important characteristic and also to control engine vibration from the crankshaft. With these factors in mind, raw materials, the forging process, heat treatment, and the precision machines themselves, are all under strict quality control. Whether it is the programming of the machine to create a strong but lightweight product, or the decision to use particular ARP bolts that can withstand the severe stresses of a motor, the careful decisions that created this special rod and all part of the Kameari way.
